Waking up early trying to catch up for the days work, I find it very refreshing. I would prepare my coffee and sit down to watch the news on television then pitch in some fixing and sweeping just to clear the house of the dust accumulated on that day. There’s not much to clean and clear as there are no children to mess around, just my seventeen year old son who sits down only to play computer games or watch television.

Since I go to work only in the afternoon lately, I have always time to work on my computer before going to work. This is the kind of life I have. Just working on my blogs when I am not at work and sorting some things at home once in a while. There are enough things to do to fill the days as they come by.

Could life be so boring as my life? No, I don’t consider my life boring. I do things that make me busy and forget that I don’t have a life that is as exciting as other people do. I don’t have many friends that I could go out with. Besides I prefer to sit in front of my computer and tap the keys to write about something. I do go out from time to time with my sister and my friends but it is not so often.

Perhaps being happy and content in life depends on the person. I am content with my simple life and I live enjoying the simple things around me. I write to give spice to my everyday activities and I play with the kids that I teach to make me happy and alive. The days that I am with the children are days that I could never forget. The things that they say and do are sometimes wonders that me wonder at times. There are things that sometimes puzzle me when children speak on their own. It is sometimes very hard to answer their questions.

But they are the spice of my life!

I had been teaching young children for more than twenty years and  recently I felt I needed a short break from work.  I did have a very pleasant holiday with my family in a place I consider paradise.  It was such a lovely place that I wanted it known to everyone.  With all the nature around the place I really felt so refreshed and different.

Now that I'm totally refreshed, I have to go back to work and deal with the little children.  I love teaching young ones because I know what children are.  They could be real nasty to enrage you but the next moment they make you smile the sweetest smile and make you hug them tightly.  These are what children are.  I have a way of making children laugh and behave.  I teach them to be good and to be real nice people and if a child lies, I explain when lying is not good.

A teacher's job is something very challenging.  A teacher must be everything she should be.  A mother, a sister, a friend, a nursemaid, a janitor and even a clown.  She could also act as a disciplinarian when the need arises and could be a guidance counselor to those who need it.  Living the life of a teacher has been real exciting and challenging to me.  I wouldn't exchange being a teacher for young children with anything else in this world.
